A low carb biltong and basil pate made with cream cheese, powdered biltong and fresh basil.

Ingredients

  • 1 tub full cream, smooth cottage cheese.
  • 1 cup powdered biltong.
  • A handful of fresh basil, finely cut.
  • Half of an onion, finely chopped.
  • A squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
  • A few good grinds of black pepper.
  • Glad wrap to refrigerate.

Directions

  • 1In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients, except the glad wrap, and mix thoroughly with a spoon until combined.
  • 2Line a desert bowl or plastic container with glad wrap, transfer the pate, cover and refrigerate until use.
